It’s impressive to see how Du Plessis Driving School has grown and evolved over the past 80 years. Established in 1940 by Andries du Plessis, who was a traffic officer and Springbok athlete at the time, the driving school has since become a leader in driver training. Thousands of drivers have benefited from the program he developed, which indicates the school’s commitment to delivering quality instruction.
We currently operate two divisions:
Both focus remains on providing practical training and understanding driver behavior to prevent collisions. The instructors at Du Plessis Driving School continuously study and master techniques that are crucial for safe driving.
The school’s hands-on training approach helps fleet drivers in particular to “See, Think, and React” effectively to various driving challenges they may encounter, regardless of their driving location or the type of vehicle they operate.
